- 🚊 Tram: Tram D heads towards central Rotterdam quickly from the cruise terminal area.

☕ Morning - Coffee & Architecture
| 8:00 - 8:45am | Disembark and head to Markthal Rotterdam - indoor food hall with incredible arch. Grab a coffee and a Dutch treat. |
| 8:45 - 9:30am | Walk through the cube houses (Kijkkubus) - just south of Markthal. Photos from the outside are a must. |
| 9:30 - 10:15am | Erasmus Bridge - the striking yellow bridge that defines the Rotterdam skyline. Walk or stop for photos. |
🍽️ Late Morning / Lunch
| 10:15 - 11:30am | Wander the Kop van Zuid waterfront area - great views back across the river to the city. |
| 12:00 - 1:00pm | Lunch near the waterfront - plenty of cafes and restaurants along the Maasboulevard or inside Markthal. |
🌊 Afternoon - Waterfront & Culture
| 1:00 - 2:00pm | Walk the Wilhelminapier waterfront - ships dock right here so you're never far from home base. |
| 2:00 - 3:00pm | Explore the Lloydkwartier area or head to the Maritime Museum district - or just wander the streets and soak it in. |
| 3:00 - 3:30pm | Head back towards the ship - no rush, it's a short walk. |

Key Highlights
Cube Houses (Kijkkubus)
A quirky row of houses tilted at 45 degrees - very Instagram, very Rotterdam. Best viewed from outside.
Erasmus Bridge
Rotterdam's iconic yellow bridge. Good views from both ends - walk across for the full experience.
Wilhelminapier / Cruise Terminal
The cruise ships dock right here on the pier. It's a pleasant waterfront walk into the city centre - easy and flat.
Notes
- Ship arrives at 8:00 AM and departs at 8:30 PM - a very civilised full day in port.
- Currency: Euro (€). Netherlands is part of the EU.
- No need for a full day plan - just wander, eat, and enjoy. Rotterdam rewards a relaxed pace.
- Amsterdam was considered but 1.5 hours each way on trains felt like unnecessary stress for a port day.
