Key Highlights

The Little Mermaid

Edvard Eriksen's famous bronze statue sitting on a rock in the harbour. She's right by the cruise dock - literally your first stop off the ship. A proper Copenhagen icon since 1913.

Nyhavn

The postcard image of Copenhagen - colourful townhouses lining a canal, boats bobbing in the water. Perfect for a lunch stop or just a wander. The original 17th-century harbour is as photogenic as it gets.

Amalienborg Palace

The home of the Danish Royal Family. Four palace buildings around a central square. The Changing of the Guard happens at noon. The courtyard is free to enter.

Strøget

One of Europe's longest pedestrian streets. Shops, cafes, street performers, and people-watching. A lovely walk from Nyhavn up through the city centre.

Rosenborg Castle

A compact Renaissance castle housing the Danish crown jewels and crown regalia. A bit of a hidden gem - not on every tourist trail but well worth a visit.
